Title:
  [Realtek ALC888] PA test tone failed (alsa tone succeeded): crackling,
  popping during audio playback from all applications

Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: pulseaudio

  Basically anytime I play music or watch videos online or through fluendo (ALL 
AUDIO)
  I get this popping/crackling or skip.

  The music format doesn't matter: it happens with wav, ogg, and mp3
  The video format doesn't matter: flash videos, fluendo, etc

  Please help!
