Title:
[NFORCE - NVidia nForce2] Pulseaudio does not play audio
intermittently and ratchets CPU up to 100%

Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: pulseaudio

Very occasionally when playing music through Rhythmbox, no audio will
play though the progress counter will show advancement, slightly
faster than normal (2:1 seconds). When that happens the pulseaudio
process starts running around 75%, or whatever is free on the CPU.
It's not track specific, and once it happens, it happens no matter
what you try to play. It's a bit like running into a skip on a CD,
but the files are fine and will play back normally after a restart. I
am running out of the digital coax connection to a receiver.
