I've put together a merge proposal that changes the way media scanner tracks mount/unmount of removable media here:
https://code.launchpad.net/~jamesh/mediascanner2/udisk- mounts/+merge/236057 I'd appreciate if people who have been able to reproduce this problem give the changes a try. The output.zip links from Jenkins contain armhf debs, so this doesn't require you to manually build the package. Right now, the latest build can be found here: http://jenkins.qa.ubuntu.com/job/mediascanner2-utopic-armhf- ci/93/artifact/work/output/*zip*/output.zip -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to unity-scope-mediascanner in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1358750 Title: [Video aggregator] New videos are added to the video scope only after reboot Status in Media Scanner v2: New Status in “mediascanner2” package in Ubuntu: In Progress Bug description: New videos are added to the video scope only after reboot.
