Title: "apt-get install taskname^" is not documented Status in apt package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: % GET https://patches.ubuntu.com/a/apt/apt_0.9.7.7ubuntu4.patch | fgrep 'taskname^' + * merged "install-task" branch (use with "apt-get install taskname^") - * merged "install-task" branch (use with "apt-get install taskname^") + with "apt-get install taskname^" (I had to use the online version as the changelog installed by the package is unfortunately truncated.) This feature is not documented in apt-get(8)despite it seems patched into apt since Edgy. Checked the man-pages of Precise and Raring.
