BTW, I just noticed this.

If you want this to be bus activated via systemd, you should put a
SystemdService=<your unit file> in the .service file. That is I think
currently if you do

  $ systemctl --user status mediascanner-2.0.service

after it's been bus activated, it won't have been started by systemd.
