Install virtualbox from repo's.
Install Xubuntu or Ubuntu
Install virtulabox-guest-utils
Reboot - virtual installation starts.
Install virtualbox-guest-x11
Reboot
Virtual installation starts, see disk clean notice, window then
resizes itself a few times - then cursor flashing but no login screen
appears
