When booting or rebooting, the network won't come up at all. But, if I select "Disconnect VPN" with network- manager the network comes up automatically. After the network comes up, I can enable the VPN and the client connects to the server. No error messages in syslog regarding the ethernet interface or openvpn. Also, the network interface will autoconnect if I unassociate openvpn with the ethernet interface. network-manager 1.2.2-0ubuntu0.16.04.3 network-manager-openvpn 1.1.93-1ubuntu1 openvpn 2.3.10-1ubuntu2 user@server1:~$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS Release: 16.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/1651801/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
