And yes native Chromium support would be better. Previously racarr had
implemented that but it probably bit-rotted. More recently hikiko has
been talking about doing it as a fun project but I don't know what the
status is.

  run chrome, chromium or electron app like atom, gravit designer, etc
  if you get just a black window try to resize the window, you'll see the 
context blinking
