Sometimes after logging in the text is suddenly much larger than before, and this change persists even after reboot. I was able to get back normal font sizes by modifying text scaling in unity tweak. I'd have to look at this again the next time this happens, but if I understand this correctly then sometimes the scaling factor is re- applied to the text scaling in cases where it was already applied before, thus scaling the text by 1.62*1.62 instead of only 1.62 as it should be.
