Hi, I'm sorry but I don't have enough free time to work on this because it can be tested/implemented only on a mobile device, at least for me: I cannot get ubuntu-clock-app to use eds engine on desktop (unity7,8,xenial,yakkety,snap,deb,built,i386-emulator-on-xenial), it falls back to memory engine so alarms are not saved.
