If I open this bug report in Chrome desktop in the responsive design
view with a resolution of 332x591 (which is the screen size in DIP on
krillin), I see exactly the same layout issue. The layout improves as
the available width increases, which is why it works better in landscape
mode.
This is probably more of a Launchpad design bug than a bug in Oxide

Bug description:
Looking at a launchpad bug shows the body of the bug is a very thin
(1/3 screen width?) column when held vertically.
Rotating device to landscape mode shows a wider display, but only ~60%
of the screen width is used.
