Headphone output fine. Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Have checked with alsamixer to ensure all channels have volume, and 'auto mute' is disabled. Headphone output works fine. Speaker output does not. Tried alsa force-reload then rebooted, still not sound. After this, the two buttons to test audio in Audio settings don't activate. (Before alsa force-reload they both looked like they were trying to play audio, now no). Only have one output device listed, named "built-in audio" ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.10 Package: alsa-base 1.0.25+dfsg-0ubuntu4 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.11.0-13.20-generic 3.11.6 Uname: Linux 3.11.0-13-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.12.5-0ubuntu2.1 Architecture: amd64 AudioDevicesInUse: USER PID ACCESS COMMAND /dev/snd/controlC0: aaron 11545 F.... pulseaudio /dev/snd/pcmC0D0c: aaron 11545 F...m pulseaudio Date: Sun Nov 10 19:27:26 2013 InstallationDate: Installed on 2013-01-05 (309 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.10 "Quantal Quetzal" - Release amd64 (20121017.5) MarkForUpload: True PackageArchitecture: all SourcePackage: alsa-driver Symptom: audio Symptom_AlsaPlaybackTest: ALSA playback test through plughw:PCH failed Symptom_Card: Built-in Audio - HDA Intel PCH Symptom_Jack: Speaker, Internal Symptom_Type: Only some of outputs are working Title: [SVD1121C5EB, Realtek ALC275, Speaker, Internal] Playback problem UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to saucy on 2013-11-10 (0 days ago) dmi.bios.date: 04/09/2013 dmi.bios.vendor: Insyde Corp. dmi.bios.version: R1063C7 dmi.board.asset.tag: N/A dmi.board.name: VAIO dmi.board.vendor: Sony Corporation dmi.board.version: N/A dmi.chassis.asset.tag: N/A dmi.chassis.type: 10 dmi.chassis.vendor: Sony Corporation dmi.chassis.version: N/A dmi.modalias: dmi:bvnInsydeCorp.:bvrR1063C7:bd04/09/2013:svnSonyCorporation:pnSVD1121C5EB:pvrJ5000TCF:rvnSonyCorporation:rnVAIO:rvrN/A:cvnSonyCorporation:ct10:cvrN/A: dmi.product.name: SVD1121C5EB dmi.product.version: J5000TCF dmi.sys.vendor: Sony Corporation To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/1249827/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
