As not much has changed in the browser code itself, I suspect changes somewhere else in the stack maybe. When run on my xenial+overlay laptop in a unity7 session, webbrowser_app.tests.test_contextmenu.TestContextMenuTextArea.test_actions hangs and eventually times out.
