Title: Should refuse download if it would leave an unsafely low amount of free space Status in Canonical System Image: Confirmed Status in ubuntu-download-manager: New Status in ubuntu-download-manager package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Before downloading anything, we should check if after the download the amount of disk space left would fall below a certain "safe" threshold, and refuse the download in such a case. To make things ever safer, during the download we should also check if other operations are filling up the disk space (e.g. recording a video) and abort the download as soon as we go below the safe threshold.
