You seem to be hitting bug 1484825 judging by the text handlers ("blue
thing") being offset on your screenshot.1. Touch one of the handlers with your finger. 2. Move it left or right to change the selection. 3. A menu should show up automatically. 1. Ok my hands are not the smallest but I saw already bigger ones. I can not place the cursor in the text where I want to as well as mark/highlight the text to cut or copy. On Android these dots are big raindrops. I have no problem. In Ubuntu it simply doesn't work at all without a touchpen.
