the pattern followed was this: on loging in system cleared the screen, showed background and froze with nothing else on screen. No message bar no title bar, no mouse or keyboard access and no no activity. I waited ten minutes and no action. I shut down the PC and restarted. Restart proceded properly after running large amount of disk cleanup but Terminator (terminal emulation) no longer worked. I tried removing Terminator and reinstalling but that's when the errors started popping up and Terminator was not removed. Now, several functions pop up "error detected". has happened several times and sometimes even pops up error trying to send in message report.
