Public bug reported:

Libgee uses several [Deprecated] code attribute, however Vala 0.31.1
deprecated it and replaced it with [Version (deprecated = true)].

This means that code cannot be compiled against Libgee using valac >=
0.31.1 unless --enable-deprecated is passed to valac, which is
undesirable.
