consolidating this bug by duping with bug 1592404 all stems from moving dash to sidestage ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 1592404 Moving scopes to side stage causes disapearance of stage and background -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to unity8 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1591522 Title: Apps scope keeps moving itself to sidestage on M10 Status in Canonical System Image: Confirmed Status in unity8 package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: When I plugged my USB drive into my M10 it was not recognised (previously this USB has worked fine), and the External Drives app would not let me eject. I rebooted, and the screen was completely black with just the menu at the top. I could see that the main Apps Scope was in a sidestage when I used the carousel view, but it wouldn't let me access the sidestage. The launcher was unavailable. By pulling down the time menu and opening calendar by clicking on the date I was able to open Calendar and from there the sidestage with Apps Scope was visible and could be dragged into the main stage. Since then (2 days now), the Apps Scope keeps popping back into the sidestage while I am using other apps. Rebooting always results in the same behaviour: black screen, Apps stuck in a 'hidden' sidestage.
