Public bug reported: GSM specification of SMS-PP allows to enable/disable SMS status reports in order to get a notification whether outgoing SMS have been received by the contact or is pending.
So far, there is no way to configure this in my Ubuntu phone (BQ Aquaris E4.5) and it seems that within message details, there is no information about the status report (sent, received, pending, etc) Seen on: Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu 15.04 OTA 11 ** Affects: messaging-app (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to messaging-app in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1590940 Title: Can't enable/disable SMS status report Status in messaging-app package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: GSM specification of SMS-PP allows to enable/disable SMS status reports in order to get a notification whether outgoing SMS have been received by the contact or is pending.
