Hello Robert, or anyone else affected, Accepted shared-mime-info into xenial-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/shared- mime-info/1.5-2ubuntu0.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Run 'gnome-open NAME.snap' or click on it in Nautilus Expected result: The snap is opened in an appropriate program (file-roller and/or GNOME Software). Observed result: The file cannot be opened.
