I will try. The problem, I think, is that the ads are essentially random. My set of targeted ads may not be the same as yours. There's no guarantee that an ad that frequently occurs for me will even show up for you. So, I'll look around and try to trigger another instance of this bug. When I do, I'll try to get the URL of the ad itself. Maybe that will help more than linking to an unrelated website. I'll update as soon as I have something.

Status in webbrowser-app package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: This is a strange intermittent problem. It seems that full page, or perhaps page covering ads on web pages will not only block the web page underneath in opaque black, but block everything in the browser. This includes other web pages and hitting the back button to escape the screen. When this happens, there will also be slim white rectangles on the right-side edge of the screen when scrolling. Screenshots are attached. http://imgur.com/a/yLWGj I'm using a Meizu Pro 5 (turbo) OTA 11 from the stable "meizu.en" channel. I can attest that this same behavior appeared in OTA 10.2 as well. EXPECTATIONS: 1 - When an ad or other element blocks the web page, I expect to be able to close or hide it. 2 - If I go back a page, I expect the element to be stop blocking the webpages. REALITY: A - They are unclosable. B - Even hitting back or navigating to a different web page doesn't make the black overlay disappear. webbrowser app is 0.23+15.04.20160509.3-0ubuntu1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/webbrowser-app/+bug/1588597/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
