Title: Lockscreen is created even if it's not used (wide mode or greeter fully on screen) Status in “unity8” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: With an invalid background (rev. 165, as support for it was reverted) you can see that the lock screen is always there, regardless if it'll be used or not, e.g. in tablet mode. The lockscreen should be created dynamically - only when needed - and destroyed on successful unlock.
