Title: Mouse events not delivered to the shell Status in “unity8” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I've had that happen to me repeatedly over the last few days, some times after unlocking the phone only the edges and apps will work, no taps or (non-edge) swipes get through to the shell. Restarting unity8 helps. I hope that this is a fallout from bug #1292306, i.e. events get confused after they've been blocked for a while, will have to see when that gets fixed.
