Public bug reported:

Steps to repeat:
1. Type something in browser address bar (dont press enter)
2. Access quick setting drop down or side launcher
3. Return to browser and see that typed characters are no longer. I.e. Have to
retype

Sometimes i am searching for something that i recevied in a
notification. I start typing the search term or url in the address bar
then go to quick settinga to double check, but this causes the addrsss
bar to reset, and removed the partially typed url.
