I just tested the link above, and I’m able to copy and paste the nonce: - tap once on the first text area, it gets focus and all its text (the nonce) is selected - long press on the selected text, a context menu appears with an action to copy the text - long press on the text area below, a context menu appears with an action to paste
However after pasting the text, I’m not seeing any button/link to validate. Not sure whether that’s an issue with that specific page, or with the browser itself. @Marco: could you please test again on a different page using recaptcha, and let us know if you’re able to complete the process? ** Changed in: webbrowser-app (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to webbrowser-app in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1571838 Title: Copy Paste not working (e.g. recaptcha 2.0) Status in webbrowser-app package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Steps to reproduce: * Navigate to any site using the new reCAPTCHA * Solve recaptcha and get prompted to copy paste some nonce Expected result: * User is able to copy nonce Actual result: * Text can be selected but not copied Reference: * Screenshot Affected version: Ubuntu 15.04 OTA-9.1 app: 0.23+15.04.20160112.1-0ubuntu1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/webbrowser-app/+bug/1571838/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
