This does not cause a general freeze. I am able to swipe the app-gone-white back offscreen. At which point opened apps does not show it and i was not able to swipe it back in again. app was killed apparently. I can however repeat the behaviour consistently. After a reboot however, this doesnt happen anymore. The app starts normaly. I have in fact seen this a number of times over the past year on my device: after updating, an app will launch as white screen. After reboot, everything is fine. As far as a can remember it has happened with a number of different apps. /home/phablet/.cach/upstart show the calculator crash: libust[1865/1868]: Error: Error opening shm /lttng-ust-wait-5-32011 (in get_wait_shm() at lttng-ust-comm.c:881) libust[1865/1868]: Error: Error opening shm /lttng-ust-wait-5-32011 (in get_wait_shm() at lttng-ust-comm.c:881) libust[1865/1867]: Error: Error opening shm /lttng-ust-wait-5 (in get_wait_shm() at lttng-ust-comm.c:881) libust[1865/1867]: Error: Error opening shm /lttng-ust-wait-5 (in get_wait_shm() at lttng-ust-comm.c:881) callbacks 0x431e3ead 0x431e3e59 creating surface at (0, 58) with size (720, 1222) with title 'qmlscene: calculator'libust[3652/3655]: Error: Error opening shm /lttng-ust-wait-5-32011 (in get_wait_shm() at lttng-ust-comm.c:881) libust[3652/3655]: Error: Error opening shm /lttng-ust-wait-5-32011 (in get_wait_shm() at lttng-ust-comm.c:881) callbacks 0x42f6eead 0x42f6ee59 creating surface at (0, 58) with size (720, 1222) with title 'qmlscene: calculator' I also looked at /var/crash but it doenst look to me as there is anything usefull there. btw this sounds similar to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/upstart-app-launch/+bug/1270975 by Alan Pope but i will let others be the judge of that. cheers, Mat To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity8/+bug/1292725/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
