I do the following:- Reboot kill powerd Recurse through all .desktop files in .local/share/applications Make sure unity8 process is running Start app Wait a few seconds Take a screenshot with mirscreencast Stop app Wait a few more seconds Pull log files and screenshot of app off device, store them and go back around to next app (this may be related to bug 1327543) On this occasion mirscreencast died.
