Title:
  apt tab completion missing "search" option

Status in apt package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  The actual bug may be better described as being in "bash-completions"?

  Anyhow, the option for tab completion to fill in "search", so "apt
  search $keyword", is missing. If I alter the completions file to add
  "search" then it seems to work as expected.

  $ diff /usr/share/bash-completion/completions/apt.orig
/usr/share/bash-completion/completions/apt

  < local COMMANDS=("install" "remove" "purge" "show" "list"
