@Pat: testing on the stable channel? This is indeed a regression in the
rc-proposed channel, which will be fixed by the touch selection branch
that’s in silo 27.

Title:
Can't paste in web text fields anymore

Status in Canonical System Image:
  Confirmed
Status in webbrowser-app package in Ubuntu:
  In Progress

Bug description:
I noticed this when trying to report a bug in Launchpad on the phone.
I can't get a context menu by holding down my finger in a text field
  anymore. Is this a regression?

The context menu will appear if no text has been entered into the
field, but once it contains text the menu is no longer triggered.
