Yes, the culprit is UbuntuListView, and it was due to the half-way road to the ListItem focus handling implementation, which after all not even design could agree on... So the change is there, but we can remove it until dear design gets to a consensus on what should be the colour used when the ListView is focused and what when not. Never the less if the ListView will have a currentItem set, it will have a coloured background.
