After editing a photo, thumbnail is not updated at image viewer

Fix Released
Bug description:
Tested with latest gallery at krillin with rc-proposed (r200).
When returning to image viewer after a photo editing the thumbnail
displayed is not updated with latest changes and sometimes the wrong
photo/video is displayed.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open one photo from Photos/Events view;
2) Go to Edit Mode and rotate the photo;
3) Return to the image viewer.
Expected result:
Original photo should be displayed rotated
Current result:
Original photo is displayed without changes. Sometimes next/previous
media file from the collection is displayed instead.
