fastsearch stops finding matches as more numbers are entered
Status in “dialer-app” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
As you type in a phone number n the keypad, matches start to be shown
until the 4th number is entered, then no matches are shown again until
the entire number is entered.
There seems to be some bad string compare logic.
This is a very important usability issue. Also related is to show
formatting with "-" inserted as appropriate while number is being
entered.
