Phone interface inappropriately uses the word "Dialer"

1. Go to the home screen, and if necessary expand the "Applications" section.
2. Find the app for making phone calls.
What you see: "Dialer".
What you should see: Something less esoteric. For example, "Phone", or
"Calls".
The dialer itself is only a small part of this app. Other parts
include the UI for ongoing calls, a summary of the call just ended,
and logs of previous calls. Naming the phone call app "Dialer" is like
naming the camera app "Shutter", or the browser app "Address Bar".
More importantly, developers may refer to the code that powers this UI
as the "dialer", but few people outside the development team would
think of it that way -- unless they're the sort of geek who installs
third-party dialer apps. This can be verified by doing a street
survey. Get someone to look at the phone, point to the unlabelled
icon, and ask "What do you think this is?" Repeat 50 times.
