Ran the command, it shows 9%, so it's pretty clear this problem is with the indicator. Yet the indicator is still white, and looks like at least 25% in the icon. If you open the battery indicator it correctly shows "Charge level 9%" yet the color/state of the icon is not correct.
It should do the following: - if charge level below 20%, the icon should be red - the user should be warned with a notification when batter drops below 20% and again 10% Currently there is no accurate indication the battery is about to run out and the phone just dies, which is obviously not good. ** Changed in: indicator-power (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to indicator-power in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1338604 Title: indicator shows 25% charge but phone runs out of battery Status in “indicator-power” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in “powerd” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: build 116 on Nexus 4 - Use the phone for a while when not plugged in - After extended use or being suspended, indicator shows about 25% charge (still white) - Then phone completely dies, battery is empty as you can't turn it back on unless plugged in Expected results: indicator should turn red when battery level critical user should be prompted that battery level critical To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-power/+bug/1338604/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
