Title: Hardly any possibility to personalize Unity (12.04) Status in Unity: Invalid Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: Binary package hint: unity People can't personalize there own digital working environment. Personalize is I think the power of Linux and if you take that away could cause a drastic reduction of the use of Ubuntu at home and in business. Some examples: People can not -- add applets/indicators to panels -- change position of panels -- change the position of indicators -- change thickness of panels They might be able to do this in a really difficult way but that does not take away, that it is non user-friendly I do a lot of audiovisual activities (eg video and audio editing) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/696214/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
