Title: gtkfileselector opens a directory rather than storing the changes Status in GTK+ GUI Toolkit: New Status in “gtk+2.0” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 - the Hardy Heron with the blubuntu theme, but this applies to all gnome desktops I've tried recently. When saving a file (see attached screen shot for an example), and 'browse for other folders' is selected, the window shows a row of buttons indicating the folder hierarchy, so that could be 'home' 'user' 'downloads' 'graphics'. Suppose the last file I saved was in 'home' 'user' 'downloads' 'graphics', but this time I want to save in 'home' 'user' 'downloads'. I would expect to click on the 'downloads' button, and then the 'save' button (given that the name of the file is shown in the 'Name:' field. What actually happens when you click 'save' is that it opens the sub- directory which is still highlighted. I want to save in the current directory, but there is no (obvious) way of de-selecting the currently directory (see screen shot for an example of when clicking 'save' doesn't save the file). thanks for looking at this, Jon To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gtk/+bug/275428/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
