This is the correct behavior for EDS, the event will always occur on the start date. If you want the event to occur only in the next Wed you will need to set the start data as the date of the next Wed.
OBS: you can test all recurrence possibilities on evolution in you desktop. The results must be the same. Expected Result :- Assuming today is Wednesday and created an event which repeats on Tuesday & Thursday , this should show me events from tomorrow and from next weeks every Tuesday & Thursday.
