I'm using Thunderbird 31.3.0 and I went into the programs network configuration. I told it to use 127.0.0.1 port 9050 for all connections including SOCKS5. However, when I tried to connect to a hidden service, it failed. The connection just sat there doing nothing.
So, I installed FoxyProxy and performed the same configuration there. As soon as I enabled FoxyProxy, the connect went through with no problem. Has anyone else noticed this behavior when configuring Thunderbird manually? Am I doing something wrong?
