TBB regularly gives me a new exit node without abruptly restarting the browser. What is the harm in allowing me to manually do that when needed? I know how to close the browser, and do that whenever I want, but all I want is a new exit mode. And yes the map and the other things from the control panel would be nice too. -- Christopher Booth

SOoooooooooooo much easier. Well, easier doesn't mean safe. Browsers keep a lot of state around that can potentially be used to track you across different Tor circuits. That's why New Identity now restarts the whole browser. Everybody knows that the usability of that is awful, but there's no better solution right now. If Vidalia had any means to control the browser process, it would have restarted it also in the old design. -- Moritz Bartl https://www.torservers.net/ -- tor-talk mailing list - tor-talk@lists.torproject.org To unsubscribe or change other settings go to https://lists.torproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tor-talk -- tor-talk mailing list - tor-talk@lists.torproject.org To unsubscribe or change other settings go to https://lists.torproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tor-talk
