Hi all, i've been looking that currently cached-descriptors account for more than 4.2MB of flat file and 1.7MB of gzip compressed one.
If i understand correctly while chatting at tor dev meeting, there's a certain amount of load of the Tor network given by the amount of clients requesting network-related information. Is part of this network load also related to cached-descriptors periodic update? If so, can't be this network load due to big size be reduced by implementing a different data structure other than a flat file, such as something binary efficient, that would maybe decrease it's size? -naif _______________________________________________ tor-talk mailing list tor-talk@lists.torproject.org https://lists.torproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tor-talk
