For the specific case you mentioned, find your torrc file and add these two lines: ExitNodes {us} StrictExitNodes 1 The first line tells Tor to prefer exit relays in the United States. The second line tells Tor to strictly enforce that preference. Then stop Tor and start it again. To go back to normal usage, remove those two lines from your torrc and stop, then start Tor again. A quick way to do it is to type http://abcd.com.<fingerprint>.exit into your browser's address bar when <fingerprint> is the fingerprint of a Tor exit relay in the United States.
