In another video, he explains the difference between Singing - songs- music And Chanting - Mantras It is too big to be sent by e mail, 3 minutes, but there he explains the difference and says that's why mantras can only be learnt from a Guru and can't be read, as the intonation differs. He says it clears and purifies the entire nervous system and the vibrations they create have immense benefits. Our younger generation should know, to respect the Veda Mantras and the Vedic Scholars.
