Thanks BUT Sorry Sir, I think we all are going overboard. The Fwd by Sri Rama has been doing the rounds in W app but what I hear and read is the waters have NOT been completely stopped but ONLY reduced, somewhat. We are not talking about the East flowing rivers but the ones that flow to the West, to Pakistan. *If there was complete stoppage of water, Pak would have been in total turmoil today. Either they would have surrendered or would have waged a war as it is their lifeline.* Yes, canals have been built and are being built, but not all of them are complete. It will be sometime, quite some time, before complete stoppage happens but the squeeze is being put and the screws are being tightened. Otherwise why the Govt is talking about " Desilting the dams" *as one way of reducing the water flow? * Incidentally, let us not ignore the fact that China is building the world's BIGGEST DAM in the Upper Brahamaputra and the Govt is exploring how to safeguard ourselves (Assam etc.).
