empty space in quantum field theory:

Quantum vacuum fluctuations: According to quantum mechanics, empty space
is full of quantum particles that appear and disappear. These "virtual"
particles are constantly popping in and out of existence, including
electron-positron pairs and photons. Although they can't be directly
captured, they can subtly affect the real world.

Quantum vacuum: The vacuum is a mathematical and philosophical concept
that represents a region of space without fields or massive particles. The
physical vacuum, or quantum vacuum (QV), influences many phenomena,
including the Lamb Shift, Casimir effect, and Hawking radiation.

Bubble of nothing: In 1982, physicist Edward Witten discovered the
"bubble of nothing". He found that quantum jitters could cause an extra
dimension to shrink to a point and vanish into nothingness. This would
create a rapidly expanding bubble with no interior, marking the end of
space-time. {KR: There is NO “nothing”; shunya is not “nothing; nothing is
ACHIT’ ; Least life; anthima; destructions; And end of YUGA ; yuga
Pralayam. Where the end of space would arise, the time stops; where the
time stops the only existence is Brahmam}

Vacuum randomness: The randomness of empty space can be
controlled with a laser. When hit with a laser, the laser emits pulses of
light with a property called phase. The phase can be interpreted as a
number, either 1 or 0, which depends on the vacuum fluctuations. {KR
principle and the source of internet wi-fi}

2 (US UNIVERSITIES} Space is not empty. A point in outer space is
filled with gas, dust, a wind of charged particles from the stars, light
from stars, cosmic rays, radiation left over from the Big Bang, gravity,
electric and magnetic fields, and neutrinos from nuclear reactions. As the
book "Nothingness: The Science of Empty Space" by Dr. Henning Genz
describes, space is also filled with two things we can't directly detect:
dark matter and dark energy. Even if all these things could be removed and
blocked out from a certain region of space, there would still be three
things we could never remove according to Dr. Genz: (1) vacuum energy, (2)
the Higgs field, and (3) space-time curvature.

3 Vacuum energy (also called vacuum fluctuations or zero-point
energy) is a sea of particles and antiparticles flashing briefly into and
out of existence. Vacuum energy has a very real effect because it weakens,
or screens, electric fields. Vacuum fluctuations are not some exotic,
untested, theoretical artifact. *Rather, vacuum fluctuations are
fundamental to many everyday phenomena*. Lasers, like the one in your DVD
machine, crucially depend on the existence of vacuum fluctuations. A laser
beam is created when you set up a material properly so that you get a chain
reaction of coherent light emissions. This chain reaction is started by
vacuum fluctuations. Likewise, radioactive decay, such as experienced in
the carbon-14 that archaeologists use to date materials, is initiated by
vacuum fluctuations. Vacuum energy can be measured through the *Casimir
effect*: two uncharged metallic spheres are brought very close together and
the vacuum energy causes them to be attracted. When their separation is
small enough, the attraction due to vacuum energy dominates over
gravitational and electromagnetic effects. Vacuum energy also accounts for
the *Lamb shift* in hydrogen energy levels. Vacuum energy is an established
principle of mainstream physics. (On the other hand, harnessing vacuum
fluctuations as a free source of industrial energy is pseudo-science.)

Next, the *Higgs field* exists everywhere and is what gives many particles
their mass. *Due to the conservation of mass-energy, mass-energy cannot be
created or destroyed in a closed system*. As a result, when the Higgs field
gives mass to a particle, it does so by taking energy out of the vacuum.
The Higgs field made big news in 2012 when the first significant
experimental verification of its existence was announced at the Large
Hadron Collider in CERN.

Lastly, *spacetime curvature is a*n innate property of space itself,
according to Einstein's General Theory of Relativity. Masses act on space
by giving it curvature, and space acts back on masses by having them travel
in its curved shape. {KR: THAT IS HOW ONE SEES THE CURVED SPACE YONDER
THERE AFTER THE SEA IN THE BEACH AND WHILE DRIVING WHERE THAT CURVE
STRAITENS BUT CURVED FGAR BEHIND, SHOWING YOU THE LIMITLESS SPACE.) The
phenomenon of masses traveling in straight lines in a curved spacetime is
known as gravity. The curved trajectory of a satellite in orbit is really a
straight line in a curved space. A space devoid of masses still has a shape
(it still has Einstein's metric field). That shape can even be curved, even
without any masses, according to the equations. There is no way to suck
gravity or block gravity out of a region of space because gravity is just
the shape of space itself. As a result, even the emptiest of physical
vacuums will always have a curvature field.

Perfectly "empty" space will always have vacuum energy, the Higgs field,
and spacetime curvature. More typical vacuums, such as in outer space, also
have gas, dust, wind, light, electric fields, magnetic fields, cosmic rays,
neutrinos, dark matter, and dark energy. Despite all these things zipping
around in outer space, space does seem empty to earth-bound humans who are
used to a dense layer of air to swim around in. These concepts are
summarized in the list below. Now samples:

5       Empty space and Dark matter In the Vedas;

A: Modern physics speaks of three dimensions of space with time as
the fourth dimension. Vedic science speaks of infinite space and eternal
time as your true Self and the core of your being, taking us beyond all
dimensions as the entire universe exists within us.

Akasha or Space is the most subtle of the Vedic five elements, governing
all the levels of manifestation from the immaterial to the material,
including mind and consciousness. Time (Kala) is related to Vayu or the
air/gaseous/energy/movement-based element. Vayu is connected to life or
Prana and Vidyut as the electrical energy that manifests from space. Space
is related to mind and at a higher level to pure consciousness.

Space/Akasha in motion is said to be air/Vayu, which means that space in
movement is time. We are of aware of time according to the objects or
energies in space. *Space in itself without movement shows no time.*

This means that space and time are the same reality at states of rest and
movement, which is pure Consciousness. Eternal space creates time, like
waves on the sea. Time creates temporal spaces of various types defined by
the movement of objects in space.  {KR: From where E=Mc2 arose?}

Vedic View of Space The Sanskrit term for space or Akasha has
different connotations than the English term space. Akasha implies a field
of illumination. Akasha is related to Self or Atman, and Ananda or bliss.
Brahman is said to be Kham or Akasha, which is also said to be delight,
Kam. Akasha as Atman is Self-being, self-contained and self-luminous. Space
implies rest and duration, while time implies change and action.

There are many levels or types of space in Vedic thought. First is the
material space, which has different forms as atmospheric space, the space
of the solar system, the space between the stars, and beyond.

Within us is the space of life or energy and the space of the mind. All
these manifest forms of space contain particles, waves and energies,
including various types of electro-magnetic forces, animate and inanimate
forms, and thoughts and life-particles.

Space, Time and Shakti The Supreme unmanifest space is
Being-Consciousness-Bliss, Sat-chit-Ananda as Brahman, the total reality.
This supreme space has its inherent power or Shakti, including time which
is the main power of manifestation. Akasha abounds with an unmanifest
energy that is unlimited. Without time there is no manifestation, which
implies beginning and end. That space of pure consciousness, Chid-akasha is
eternal and immutable, beyond the fluctuations of time, yet is also their
origin.

Shakti is the power of time or potential for manifestation inherent in the
Chid-akasha. It arises from Consciousness and takes the background form of
bliss or Ananda. Akasha has an electrical energy connected to vibration and
sound, which at a lower level becomes the ear as a sense organ and speech
as a motor organ. Yet at a higher-level pure sound, speech and light are
boundless and self-manifest. In Vedic philosophy time, vibration, prana,
sound (shabda), and Vidyut (electrical forces) arise together from the
supreme space, and develop the forces of Vayu or air, which is space in
motion. This Vayu is the cosmic energy, not simply wind as a material
force. This means that time is space in motion, or manifest space, which
densifies into the other elements and forces. Akasha is the matrix or the
mother of everything through the creative force of time.

Space gives rise not only to time but also to light forms like the stars,
which are manifestations of the boundless clear light of space. Time is
measured by the movement of light, like the day and night and the Sun and
Moon. Akasha itself is pure light without any fluctuations, clear and
transparent.

Beyond all Dimensions Time cannot be apart from space as we can
only experience time and space together. If there are three dimensions of
space then time must be another dimension of space. Yet there is also the
dimensionless, or the dimension transcending space of pure consciousness.
In fact, there is only one reality, Brahman. Dimensions are but facets of
how we look at it.

Time as past, present and future, and space as distance or location are
coordinates of the mind that serve to measure the visible world. But they
delimit and distort reality, if we are not aware of the infinity and
eternity behind them. The mind uses time and location to deal with the
practical world, but such divisions occur within a greater unity of Being.
[KR TIME AND SPACE HAS NO PAST PRESENT AND FUTURE AT ALL; ALL THE THREE
TIMES CAN BE VIEWED , SEEN, HEARD WITH THE SOUND ENERGY, PROVIDED WE ARE
SIDDHAS’ CAPACITY , USING OUR NEUTRONS 30% .THAT IS THROUGH THE MEDITATION
AND TAVAM AND TAPAS; THE DIVIDEND OF TAPAS IS TIME MACHINE TRAVEL] Beyond
manifest space-time there exists a timeless space that is larger than the
largest and smaller than the smallest as the Upanishads state, meaning
beyond all measurable dimensions. Beyond the dimensions of space is
dimensionless space. This is the Self of the Vedas that holds the entire
universe in the small space or dahara akasha within the heart, which
contains all time and the entire universe. This pure space has no
dimensions and nothing comparable to it. We can experience it as a point
and as infinite simultaneously.

The Expanding Universe or the Timeless Universe\ If the universe is
expanding as physicists often state, the question arises, what is the
universe expanding from and into what? You can only expand into an existent
space. You need room to expand. You cannot just create space as you
expand. This means that expansion is only possible into a greater
preexisting universe or reality. If the universe has a beginning or end in
time or space, there must be a greater Existence beyond it. Such a universe
would only be one type of manifest world system, not the whole of reality.

If time is a manifestation of space, as we have proposed, then time is not
simply linear but wave like in motion. Time periods are waves on the ocean
of eternal space. This means that beginning and end of time or birth and
death are illusions of the wave that do not apply to the sea. The body, for
example, is a wave of biological forces rooted in a deeper prana. The
personality or mind that is created by the biological wave dissolves back
into the ocean of Consciousness. In this regard, the Vedas speak of space
as the waters, Apas, which literally means the waves, and the Sun and Moon
as flowers or lotuses, meaning matrixes in the waters of space (Apam
pushpam).

Mantra Pushpam (The flower of Vedic chants)

This Vedic hymn called 'Mantra Pushpam' is used at the time of
offering of the flowers to the deities at the very end of the Pujas. It is
part of the Taitriya Aranyaka and speaks of the unlimited benefits which
will be conferred by the secret knowledge of the waters (APAM) , fire,
(AGNI) air (VAYU), the sun, the moon, the stars, the clouds and time.

Who is the fulfiller of all desires, Please bless me with wealth, to fulfil

B Life is not a straight line or the flow of a river from past
to future always going forward, but a wave of birth, growth, decline and
death. Creation, sustenance and dissolution, which is the movement of a
wave is also a cycle, from and back to the origin and end, which are
ultimately the same. {KR::HAVE WE NOT THOUGHT BETTER THAN THE BED OF ROSES
WEST?}

As time is connected to a greater space, there ultimately is no
death. There is always room for more time, though in different forms.
Finding the space within, behind and beyond. time, we can experience the
eternal presence. Finding the time potentials hidden within space, we can
discover boundless creativity. Time is an expression or manifestation of
space.

That supreme infinite space and eternal time are one and
constitute your own boundless and immortal Self! Learn to live in that and
you will have no fear or sorrow. This is but an introduction to the
cosmology of consciousness, which is the structure of your own inner being.

BC Yes, dark matter is mentioned in the Rig Veda, and there are
some theories about the existence of dark matter in Vedic texts:

Taittiriya Aranyaka According to the verses of Taittiriya Aranyaka, the
manifested universe is one pada of the Lord, and the remaining three padas
are outside it.

Nasadiya Sukta The Nasadiya Sukta is a hymn that metaphorically
represents the human intellect's journey from ignorance to understanding.
The "cord" in the verse could represent a wormhole, linking a black hole to
a white hole.

Invisible energy The Rig Veda mentions an invisible energy that
scientists have recently discovered.

*Dark matter* is a mysterious influence that scientists have been able to
infer exists through its gravitational effect on visible matter. Unlike
normal matter, dark matter doesn't interact with the electromagnetic force,
so it doesn't absorb, reflect, or emit light.

BD: I saw a documentary called “What is Space?” (by
NOVA). The documentary explains that physicists have recently discovered
what some are calling “the fabric of the Universe.” The study of “dark
matter” and “dark energy” is an exciting new field in physics that strives
to answer many questions about the nature of material reality on all
levels, micro and macro. Modern physicists have been surprised to learn
that space is not a vacuum but is in fact another element with mass, or
substance. Previously they had believed that only gravitational forces were
holding the cosmos together but now they understand that space itself is
exerting another great force, a force that (they now believe) is sustaining
and expanding the whole cosmos. At giant research centres, with the help of
huge atomic accelerators, nuclear physicists have demonstrated that
so-called dark energy exerts forces on all material objects, including both
galaxies and subatomic particles. This understanding has been verified
primarily through complex calculations in the field of astrophysics..
Scientists have calculated that space, which is full of dark energy,
comprises approximately 70 percent of the cosmos in total mass. Another 25
percent of mass in the known universe is called “dark matter.”

According to quantum physicists, all planets and objects in the
universe -- including all black holes, quasars, planets and singularities--
comprise only about 5 percent of matter. The other 95 percent of cosmic
mass is this mysterious dark energy or dark matter. This figure is likely
close to Vedic calculations for the extent of ether, which is around twenty
times greater than all other gross elements combined. If “dark energy” is
equivalent to Vedic definitions of ether, “dark matter” might be
concentrated ethereal objects, such as the planet Rahu. These discoveries
involving dark energy are considered by some scientists to be the beginning
of a grand new era for scientific research. Nowadays the sky is the limit.
More precisely, ether is the limit for mundane science. Every new discovery
in quantum physics raises many new complex questions and mysteries. One
prominent physicist expressed his embarrassment to admit that 95 percent of
the so-called “known” universe is composed of a mysterious substance that
modern science is unable to understand and, until very recently, was unable
to perceive.

Mundane scientists are brainwashed to think only within the box of
standard academic methodology and theory, but they could have saved many
decades of tedious investigation and speculation simply by accepting the
Vedas as an authority.

In the Bhagavad-Gita, Lord Krishna teaches Arjuna that there are
eight material elements: “Earth, water, fire, air, *ether,* mind,
intelligence and false ego—all together these eight comprise My separated
material energies.” (Bhagavad-Gita 7.4) Five of these elements are gross,
three are subtle. Among the gross elements, ether, or space, is the most
subtle. It is greater than earth, water, fire and air. Mundane scientists
have finally understood that space is not a void or vacuum but rather
another material element. In fact, it is the greatest, most all-pervading
and important gross element. “The cosmic manifestation rests in space.
Space permits the movement of even atoms and on up to the greatest planets,
the sun and the moon. Although the sky (or wind and air) is great, still it
is situated within space.” (BG. 9.6,) “There is no void anywhere within the
creation of the Lord.” (BG. 6.15)

युञ्जन्नेवं सदात्मानं योगी नियतमानस: । शान्तिं निर्वाणपरमां
मत्संस्थामधिगच्छति ॥ १५ ॥

yuñjann evaṁ sadātmānaṁ yogī niyata-mānasaḥ

śāntiṁ nirvāṇa-paramāṁ mat-saṁsthām adhigacchati

mat-saṁsthām — the sky (the kingdom of God); adhigacchati — does attain.

Thus practicing constant control of the body, mind and activities, the
mystic transcendentalist, his mind regulated, attains to the kingdom of
God by cessation of material existence.

Nor does cessation of material existence entail one’s entering into “the
void,” which is only a myth. There is no void anywhere within the creation
of the Lord. All the planets in the spiritual kingdom are self-illuminated
like the sun in the material sky. The kingdom of God is everywhere, but the
spiritual sky and the planets thereof are called paraṁ dhāma, or superior
abodes. Where the consciousness or Brahmam or the whatever energy one
describes as an indicator, is spread, how can there ve a void? So when you
relinquish the desire here, you reach the space sky by your Yoga performed
as rewards assigned.

Scientists call ether “dark energy” because no one can see
it, even with powerful instruments. Dark matter and dark energy are
perceived only by symptoms or effects. This subtle element cannot be
directly seen but is perceived through observing its effects on light and
electromagnetic fields. Similarly, no one can see mind, intelligence and
false ego, although these three elements are more influential and
all-encompassing than dark energy. Shrimad-Bhagavatam describes how the
creation evolved from subtle to gross, rather than visa-versa as modern
scientists believe. In the Bhagavad-Gita, Lord Krishna gives us a hint of
His spiritual energy: *“Those who are seers of the truth have concluded
that of the non-existent there is no endurance, and of the existent there
is no cessation*. These seers have concluded by studying the nature of
both. Know that which pervades the entire body is indestructible. No one is
able to destroy the imperishable soul.” (BG. 2.16-17).In the short term,
modern science achieves powers to manipulate matter, but all such powers--
achieved through multitudes of troublesome and tediously orchestrated
cooperative efforts-- cannot equal the unilateral perfections achieved by a
yogi who controls his own mind. Mundane persons are unable to control their
minds and senses, yet they strive to control the world by cheating nature.
A true yogi or devotee abandons all desires to artificially control the
world at large, and thus he learns to control his own mind and senses. As
soon as his mind is controlled, he can transcend the limiting influences of
the modes of material nature.

All material planets and objects are situated within the darkness of
matter, but the spiritual planets of God’s kingdom are situated in
unlimited, divine light-- the brahma-jyoti, the effulgence of Krishna’s
personal form. By transcending all material elements through devotional
practices, a devotee learns to rise above all miseries and allurements on
Earth and in Heaven. Because quantum physics deals more with the energy of
matter than superficial forms, it sometimes seems to confirm Vedic
information. There is no need, however, for devotees to try to correlate
every new discovery in quantum physics with Vedic terminology. The forms of
the material world are shifting and illusory and without real substance.
The game of astrophysics, for instance, is based largely on interpretations
of amplified light and electromagnetic signals recorded through highly
sensitive modern instruments and further analysed using complex
mathematical formulas. All such techniques and instruments are flawed, as
are the minds, motives and senses of all material scientists.

So be it known that what the modern science trying to
explain today was explained in the Vedic scriptures atheist 10000 years
back; matter alone exist manifested by the Purusha; matter is seen only 25%
according to Vedas and 5% according to science; as per Vedas still 75% is
hidden against the words of science of 95% ; science is in dark so says
that as Dark energy; Vedas knew the Purusha the whole 25+75; and where
purusha is spread over, vacuum cannot exist. ‘
