DISCRIMINATION KNOWN AS VIVEKA IS INTELLIGENCE
The Sanskrit word for discrimination is viveka (विवेक). It can also be
translated as "discernment" or "discrimination learning".
In Ramanuja’s ethics, viveka is one of the seven moral and spiritual
disciplines. It can also refer to the purification of the body through the
consumption of pure food.
In yoga, viveka is an important aspect of the physical practice. It's the
ability to discern the details of one's alignment by turning one's
attention inward.
Viveka is also one of the four attributes of a spiritual disciple. It's the
ability to differentiate between the real and unreal, the eternal and
temporary, the Self and the non-Self, and pleasure and bliss.
SO, DISCRIMINATION IS AN ESSENTIAL FACTOR. VIVEKAM IF CHOODAMANI
IS WELCOME; IF NOT, IT IS RACISM. INCLUDING THE PERSON WHO READ AND
CHERISHED INCLUDING THE FB PERSONS, SUPPOSE, A FARMER, AFTER WORKING IN HIS
FIELD, ON THE SLUSH, WITH ALL DIRTS, ENTERS THEIR HOMES, WHAT WILL THEY DO?
ALL OF THEM WILL ASK HIM TO USE THE SOFA COSTLIEST, AND GET HIM DRINKS AND
FOOD? R ASK HIM TO WASH AND COME? AND WHAT BODY LANGUAGE THEIR FACE WOULD
REVEAL. DISCRIMINATION IS ESSENTIAL EVEN IF HE IS A GANDHI.
CHANDOGYA UPANISHAD Verse 6.9.2 says where discrimination
culminates.
viduḥ sati sampadyāmaha iti || 6.9.2 ||
2.—O Somya, and just as those juices now are no longer conscious of their
separate identities, thinking, ‘I am the juice from such-and-such tree,’
and ‘I am the juice from such-and-such tree’; similarly, when all these
beings attain unity in the Self, they are not conscious of it. They do not
think, ‘We [were once separate, but] now we are all one with the Self’.
Te, those [juices which have mixed together]; yathā tatra, now as [honey];
aham amuṣya vṛkṣasya rasaḥ asmi iti, I am the juice of such-and-such tree;
aham amuṣya vṛkṣasya rasaḥ asmi iti, I am the juice of such-and-such tree;
vivekam na labhante, this kind of consciousness [i.e., discrimination] they
do not have; somya, O Somya; evarn eva, like this; khalu, surely; imāḥ
sarvāḥ prajāḥ, all these beings; sati, in the Self [Brahman]; sampadya,
having attained unity; sati sampadyāmahe, we are now all one with the Self;
na viduḥ iti, are not conscious of this. Can a drop of honey say, ‘I am
from one tree, and you are from another tree’? No, there is no such
discrimination there. The pollen from different flowers becomes one mass of
honey. Similarly, we may seem to come from different sources, but in
essence we are all one. When we merge into pure Being, we are free from all
such discriminating ideas. There is no more diversity there.
IN SHORT WHERE WE BECOME A JUICE TOGETJER THERE IS EQUALITY AND TREE AND
FRUIT DO NOT EXIST AT ALL; TILL THEN THERE WILL BE INTELLIGENCE
APPLICATIONS. In that FB quote the other person who offered seat in the
next bus, in no way become superior or even equal; he had a complex; his
goods are not as a juice; still the tree is seen as dirt is no one can
tolerate. But such anecdotes are popularized in medias for likes and
emotional impacts. It was even ADI SHANKARA who was mislead for a few
seconds when SHIVA appeared a s Melecha. Had it not been shiva, Adi
shankara may be right. Avoidance of body and not soul is alone relevant
