Srinivasan Sir, Thanks. Public memory is short indeed. We hop on from crisis to crisis and nothing sticks or is followed up. That (short public memory) is the greatest strength of our politicians. Their teflon coat is our inability or unwillingness to pursue matters to their logical end. Tirupathi prasadam issue will be forgotten by next week, if it lasts that long. And there will be our own people who will say it is a story to malign the minorities and there will be people who will believe and support them. After all we need to be tolerant and secular and have to set an example on how to self destruct. You can't rule out anything in our beloved Bharat. In 99% of the items , no media follows it further till its finality. They think that the Public Memory is short ( and also not sharp!) and any further follow up on such news, is not going to increase their revenue, so why bother about such stale details?! For example, how many news media still follow up on Jaffer Sadique drug scandal, or Ponmudi ( minister! Shame!) Corruption and many other such vulnerable news?!
