Sri Guruvayurappan Temple, Sriperumbudur
Tamil Nadu-Forward

Dear friends,

I had been to the temple three times, it is replica of Guruvayoorappan
temple at Guruvayoor,Kerala. There is no queue arrangement and different
Devaswam counters and Elephant yard.

It is built in a large area with security check for entering. It is about 3
KM from Sri Perambadur in the Tiruvallor road. Around the temple there is
grass lawn and back benches to sit and relax.

A nampoohiri priest from Kerala is doing pooja. All offerings as in
Guruvayoor can be done here also.

The temple is not crowded. Devotee can spend as much time as required
before the sanctum. It is a private temple.

Hope a divine reading.

Introduction

Sri Guruvayurappan Temple is located just on the

actual location where the Temple is located is known as Kshetropasna and is

The Temple is built facing East. On entering the Temple there is a multi
pillared Mandapam in which a Bali Peedam and a Dwajasthambam are kept

The Temple has a steel Thulabaaram for the sake of Devotees.

On the outer peripheral there is a Temple Office and beyond it is a huge

etc could be conducted here.

There is an exit at the rear of the Temple on the Western side. Two stone
lamps placed on top of a Turtle's back is found at the entrance and the
exit too.

5 Nandavanam

The Temple has an exclusive Temple Garden or Nandavanam. It has lush green
grass all around with benches at regular intervals so that the elders could
sit for a while and relax.
