Person :Damm sure.

Interviewer*withmore vigour*: Boy, I am going to check and you will be rejected
if 15 is notthe actual figure. Okay?

Person :Okay sir. I will also accompany you. If discrepancy exist, I'll
straightawayleave the campus without waiting for results.

Interviewer:*aghast and moved on to next question*

In myknowledge, person cleared the interview.

Actually, even that person didn't know the stairs' count. But the the firm
attitude withwhich he answered and how hard he stick to it impressed the
interviewer to theextent he skipped his own validation.

Sometimes, unshakable confidence and firm belief can be a victory card.

Q4         Canyou provide some examples of intelligence throughout history?

A4          Jean-Marie Valheur, have a reasonableamount of it Feb 29

A Swissgentleman by the name of Leonhard Euler was an absolute genius the likes
ofwhich the world hasn’t seen many of. He was, among other things,
“amathematician, physicist, astronomer, geographer, logician, and engineer”
andhe founded the studies of graph theory and topology.

Euler wasinsanely productive. He discovered so much stuff in so many fields
that, toavoid ambiguity, things are often named after the second person to
generate theproof or discover it. I couldn’t even begin to name all the things
he came upwith and then get this — guy goes blind. Surely, that’ll slow him
down? But no!It actually INCREASES his productivity as now he can dictate all
that goes onin that mighty powerful mind straight to his scribes, no need for
him to writeit down himself. At which point he goes on to deliver an average of
onemathematical paper each week.

LeonardEuler was the stuff of absolute genius. When he lost his eyesight as an
old manhe merely said: “Now I have fewer distractions!” and carried on
cheerfully. Notbad for a man who’s most famous portrait seems to be him wearing
what appearsto be underwear for a hat.

Q5         Whydid Arjuna marry four women while even Duryodhana had a single
wife?

A5          Seema Bharti, Author of Mahabharat'sStories5h

Disguised asa brahmin, Arjun participated in the swayamvar held by King
Draupada for hisdaughter. He got Draupadi’s hand in matrimony. She became a
wife to the otherPandavs too.

Apredetermined rule where no other brother would enter Draupadi’s room when
shewas with one of them was violated. Arjun went on an exile for twelve
yearshence.

During thisperiod, he had a close encounters with Ulupi, daughter of a Naga
king Kouravya. She was aware of Arjuna’s vow of celibacy. But being in love, she
would havetaken her life if refused. He agreed to unite lest be burdened by the
sin of someone’sdeath. Son of Indra spent time with Ulupi in her father’s
palace. Finally hetook leave.

The Kuruprince crossed over the forest Naimisha meandering through beautiful
riversUtpalin, Nanda, Upananda, Gaya and Ganga. He reached Manalura. And
paidobeisance to the king Chitravahana.

ARJUNMARRIES CHITRANGADA

Chitrangadawas Chitravahana’s only child. To continue his lineage, Chitravahana
wished tomake her his putrika. Accordingly, after marriage the daughter would
continueto live in her father’s house and the son born would be the king.
Besotted byChitrangada’s elegance, Arjun agreed and lived in the palace for
three winters.He then took leave.

The Pandavscoured the western shores and reached Prabhasa. Vasudev Krishna
along with theVrishnis, Bhojas, Andhakas, came to pay homage to the Kuru heir.

Subhadra-HaranaParva

A festivalwas being celebrated on mount Raivata. Balarama, Vasudev Krishna’s
brotheraccompanied by his wife Revati and a group of musicians were
highlyintoxicated. Ugrasena, king of Vrishnis, was surrounded by his wives.
Vasudevaccompanied Arjuna since he was the guest of honour. Arjun was smitten
by ayoung damsel. She happened to be Vasudev’s half sister. Subhadra and
Vasudevwere born of the same father Vasudeva but of different mothers.

Krishnaproposed that he eloped with her. This practice was within the laws
forkshatriyas. It was best that his sister married Arjuna, who was a brave
warriorof the Bharata lineage and son of his aunt Kunti rather than marrying a
totalstranger in a swayamvar. More despicable was the exchange of wealth and
goodsgiven by the groom as the price. Arjuna agreed.

SUBHADRA ISABDUCTED

Arjun rusheda messenger to Yudhisthira and Krishna’s father Vasudeva. Once
approved, heproceeded. One day Subhadra along with her friends left home to
enjoy thefestivities on mount Raivata. A warrior riding on his chariot, clad in
armour, dragged her inside. Both eloped towards the gates of Dvaraka. Subhadra
wasdelighted on seeing her royal abductor.

The guardsescorting Subhadra rushed to the assembly hall Sudarma. The bugle
alertedeveryone in the city. The Vrishnis, Bhojas and Andhakas fumed at
Arjuna’saudacity. Arjun had to be tracked, hunted and punished.

Balaramablazed angrily at Krishna’s fallacy of judgement. But the younger
brother wasin awe of the Pandav’s skill and lineage.

ARJUNMARRIES SUBHADRA

The entirefamily expressed remorse at their antagonism. Arjun and Subhadra were
marriedin the presence with full honour.

All the fourwomen, Arjun married play a pivotal role in the epic. Duryodhan’s
wife ismerely mentioned as the mother of his sons or the daughter in law.
