Moving NetworkManager support to MissionControl would be a great
contribution! Actually, I'm going to need it for GNOME 3 as well as we'd
like to move to a less Empathy centric IM experience.

I opened https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=38978 about this.
Will and I provided some tech details about the way to do it. Feel free
to comment on this bug if you any question or need help.
