I'm thinking about writing a blacklist feature for empathy.
The most interesting implementation I found is Bot Sentry:

Do you have any other suggestions regarding this?
AFAIK empathy does not have a plugin infrastructure, and the only way to
implement this is to write a patch. Would you accept such a feature into
mainline?
